The Media Server built for permanent installations and immersive shows.

As part of the VIOSO ecosystem, you can plan your projection in VIOSO Experience Designer, then preview your content right inside that layout.

Compose video across any number of screens, projection-map with VIOSO warp & blend, drive lighting and automation with timeline Data Tracks over OSC, DMX and Art-Net, and synchronise multiple PCs frame-accurately from a single browser tab.

When something goes wrong at 3 a.m., the Auto-Heal watchdog quietly resumes the show. One system, running the room.

The evolution of EXAPLAY

EXAPLAY 3 represents a major evolution for VIOSO playback technology. What started as a focused media player has grown into a complete media server platform with composition tools, distributed multi-PC operation, data-driven show control, and built-in resilience.

The focus has shifted from simply “playing a file” to running immersive venues and permanent installations.

Some key changes

Auto-Heal + Watchdog: Resumes the show from the exact frame after a power blip or crash.
Multi-Client with frame-accurate sync: One master, many PCs, one click to push the show.
Composition & Playback: Frame blending, crossfades, blend modes, property keyframes and real-time GPU effects .
Data Tracks: Draw a curve, send it to Art-Net, DMX, OSC, UDP, or TCP; your video timeline now controls the building.
Experience Designer integration: Preview your content inside the projection plan before the projectors are hung or the LED wall built.
VIOSO warp/blend integration: Geometry-accurate projection mapping built in.

Software Updates - Calibration:

VIOSO is globally recognized for its world-leading projection calibration solutions, and this year’s show marks the launch of VIOSO 7 – the next generation of its intuitive, camera-based calibration software. VIOSO 7 delivers fully automatic calibration for virtually any projection setup, including domes, VR environments, and complex projection-mapping installations.

Upgraded features include:

An enhanced 3D model generator with a custom model preview in the Project Designer
Feathering for calibration outlines
Simultaneous use of projector masks and content masks
More efficient row & column selection in the warping tool

All new to VIOSO7 is:

A generic, web-based recalibration panel for faster adjustments
Generic NDI calibration workflow, including an NDI Preview & Receiver Tool
Camera position workflow for improved setup control
Native support for the HIVE media playback system (hive.run)

With this, VIOSO7 enhances its position as the easy-to-use calibration software with a wizard-guided workflow

Alongside this, VIOSO introduces a new version of ProjectionTools, its advanced protection auto-calibration solution designed for simulation environments and the most demanding multi-camera AV setups. From the ultra-compact, dual-output Anystation Micro, perfect for digital signage-type applications, to the Anystation Media server, designed for the most complex projection mapping, there is a VIOSO media server in the range for almost every application.
